It was a sea of red, white, and blue in Val St. Come, Cananda, as American women claimed the top four spots in dual moguls for the first time ever on Saturday evening.

Jaelin Kauf, Elizabeth Lemley, and Tess Johnson swept the podium while Olivia Giaccio followed closely behind in 4th. Kauf, wearing the blue bib after her Crystal Globe win last season, claimed her 11th World Cup victory in dual moguls after Lemley missed a mogul early on the course, giving Kauf a large enough lead to speed through her backflip mute grab and defeat Lemley 23-12. Johnson took third after facing Giaccio in the small final. Giaccio lost her footing skiing through the middle moguls after landing her cork 7, unable to finish the remainder of her run. Lemley, who is returning from injury, took her first podium finish since 2024 while Johnson earned her 13th career podium.

"I love duals," Kauf said. "I came out just to have fun tonight and ski as hard as I could out here, so I did just that. Having four of us in the top four is amazing. I wanted, the run before, to call it there and the four of us take the win together. We have an incredible team."

Home turf proved to be the good luck charm once more on the men's side as Julien Viel (CAN) took home his first World Cup victory. The 24-year-old only had two prior podiums on the World Cup stages, both third place finishes. Viel faced Ikuma Horishima (JPN) in the big final, and although Horishima finished ahead of Viel on the course, Viel came away with the 20-15 win due to the stronger control he held over his skies while racing through his moguls.

"I played it safe today," Viel said. "It’s very dangerous out there. I just did my runs and tried not to injure myself. The plan worked. I pushed just enough, but not too much, so I’m very happy."

Filip Gravenfors (SWE) placed third over Olli Penttala (FIN), who was unable to finish his run after stopping himself before the second jump on the course. American Charlie Mikel tied his personal best finish in duals at 6th after Horishima defeated him in the quarterfinals.

Recently crowned Val St. Come moguls champion Mikael Kingsbury withdrew from competition ahead of the event. A spokesperson from his team said in a statement that the decision aligns with Kingsbury's plan to return at full strength ahead of the Olympic Games.

Moguls continue from 15-16 January as the World Cup circuit travels to the Waterville Valley Resort in New Hampshire.
