USA Bobsled officially has set its World Cup roster for the 2025–26 season, a pivotal step on the road to the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics. The announcement, made in Lake Placid, confirmed which athletes will compete on the International Bobsleigh & Skeleton Federation (IBSF) World Cup circuit.
The 2026 U.S. Olympic Bobsled Team will be named January 19, with selections coming directly from this World Cup roster. A midseason review scheduled for December leaves the door open for adjustments before the Olympic roster is finalized.
“We have an exceptionally talented pool of athletes heading into the Olympic season, which made the selection process highly competitive,” said head coach Chris Fogt.
Star Power Leads the Women’s Team
The women’s pilots’ lineup brings both experience and recent dominance. Five-time Olympic medalist Elana Meyers Taylor and three-time Olympic champion Kaillie Humphries return as anchors, joined by reigning 2025 Monobob World Champion Kaysha Love, who has emerged as a force in the discipline.
Backing them are six push athletes — Azaria Hill, Sylvia Hoffman, Jasmine Jones, Sadie McMullen, Jadin O’Brien, and Emily Renna — all vying for a shot at Olympic glory as brakewomen in two-woman sleds.
A Competitive Men’s Field
On the men’s side, Frank Del Duca, Geoff Gadbois, and Kris Horn earned pilot spots. They’ll be supported by a dozen brakemen, including Olympic veterans like Hakeem Abdul-Saboor and Josh Williamson, as well as rising names such as Caleb Furnell, Boone Niederhofer, and Carsten Vissering.
The full roster of push athletes also features Adrian Adams, Quinten Arello, Bryce Cheek, Hunter Powell, Ryan Rager, Bryan Sosoo, Charlie Volker and Williamson, giving Team USA significant depth heading into the Olympic season.
The Road Ahead
Team USA opens its training block in Park City, Utah, before traveling to Europe for the start of the World Cup tour in November. Every race carries Olympic implications, with athletes looking to secure not just podium finishes but also their spots on the Olympic team.
“The committee is confident in the athletes we’ve named, and we’re eager to begin sliding in Park City next month as we prepare for the World Cup races in November,” said Fogt.
