As of April 2024, the United States has qualified for 13 of the 18 Olympic weight classes for Paris 2024:

  • 4 quota spots (out of 6) in men's freestyle
  • 6 quota spots (out of 6) in women's freestyle
  • 3 quota spots (out of 6) in Greco-Roman

With the first two phases of qualification over for the U.S., the only opportunity remaining for Team USA to secure the missing quota spots will be at a World Qualification Tournament being held in Istanbul in May. (For more details on how countries earn quota spots, be sure to read the article on the Olympic qualifying process for wrestling.)

Olympic Trials were held at Penn State University in April to determine which athletes will fill those quota spots. With their victories at Trials, the following athletes have earned a spot on the 2024 U.S. Olympic wrestling team.

Men's Freestyle
74kg: Kyle Dake
86kg: Aaron Brooks
97kg: Kyle Snyder
125kg: Mason Parris

Women's Freestyle
50kg: Sarah Hildebrandt
53kg: Dominique Parrish
57kg: Helen Maroulis
62kg: Kayla Miracle
68kg: Amit Elor
76kg: Kennedy Blades

Greco-Roman
87kg: Payton Jacobson
97kg: Joe Rau
130kg: Adam Coon

In any weight class where the U.S. has not yet earned a quota spot, the Trials champion will go to May's World Qualification Tournament and attempt to secure that quota spot for themselves.
