At age 25, Chloe Kim already has cemented her status as one of the greatest snowboarders in history. From a teenage prodigy to established veteran, Kim has dominated the sport and transcended boundaries, using her platform to speak out about social issues and turn women’s halfpipe into a marquee event.

Kim has been outspoken about her new mental and physical preparation, particularly after coming back from the mental health break she took following the 2022 Beijing Games. She has emphasized enjoying her time snowboarding, going back to fun tricks from her childhood, and re-establishing her identity outside her scores. The new approach has allowed Kim to enjoy competitions and maintain a healthy relationship with her success as she eyes a third Olympic gold at the 2026 Winter Games. If she wins gold, she will be the first athlete to complete a three-peat in snowboard halfpipe.
