The 2026 Milan Cortina Olympic torch relay just got a lot hotter thanks to actors Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie. The stars of the Crave Original series "Heated Rivalry" will be taking their talents from the cottage to Cortina after HBO announced the actors behind the beloved fictional gay hockey players will be part of the Olympic torch relay as official torchbearers in the lead up to the Opening Ceremony on Feb. 6.

"Heated Rivalry" has taken much of the world and the hockey universe by storm since its release at the end of November. The series is based on the 2019 novel by the same name and written by Rachel Reid. It's a story about two hockey players, Shane and Ilya, who are the biggest stars in Major League Hockey and grow from bitter rivals on the ice to romantically involved off the ice.

Over the course of the relay, the Olympic torch will travel 12,000km from Rome until it reaches Milan for the Opening Ceremony. The torch will run through all 110 Italian provinces and end in one of 60 cities to celebrate the end of each day.

It remains to be seen where or when Williams and Storrie will carry the Olympic torch.
