The Winter Olympics quickly are approaching, and the excitement is growing, especially for the Sesame Street crew.
In the most recent episode of "Two Guys, Five Rings," an NBC Olympics podcast, former Saturday Night Live cast member Bowen Yang and actor Matt Rogers sat down with a few of the beloved Sesame Street characters to discuss their favorite Olympic athletes and what they're looking forward to seeing in Milan. Elmo will be traveling to Milan to experience the Winter Olympics while creating content as a special correspondent like he did in Paris. He's looking forward to meeting up with some of his favorite athletes, such as Alpine skier Lindsey Vonn and snowboarder Chloe Kim.
"The Olympic Village, they don't even know what's coming when [Elmo] and Chloe hit the block," Rogers joked.
The Count also joined Yang and Rogers on the podcast, breaking down some exciting facts and important numbers to know ahead of the Games. Of the 93 countries competing in the Winter Olympics, three are set to make their Olympic debut: Benin, Guinea Bissau, and the United Arab Emirates. Grover gave some style tips on how to stay warm in Milan while the "official self-appointed Olympic food correspondent for the Winter Games" Cookie Monster dished on his favorite Olympics-themed cookies.
Hear all of that and more on the latest episode of Two Guys, Five Rings.
