Mikaela Shiffrin is no stranger to rewriting history.

She became the most dominant Alpine skier in World Cup history when she surpassed Ingemar Stenmark's previous record of 86 World Cup victories in March 2023. Since then, Shiffrin has continued her dominant run, and in February 2023, became the only skier ever to record 100 World Cup victories. Going into the Winter Olympics, she sits at 108 victories.

The 30-year-old is likely to compete in at least three events, and her statement runs during the FIS World Cup this season prove she's a serious threat for multiple medals.

You can see Shiffrin ski when coverage of Alpine skiing at the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics begins Saturday, Feb. 7, on NBC and USA Network, and stream live on Peacock and NBC Olympics platforms.
