Canada men's hockey updated the team's Olympic roster just over a week before they begin competition at the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympics.
Tampa Bay Lightning center Anthony Cirelli will no longer compete at the Games due to an injury that has not yet been disclosed.
In Cirelli's place, Florida Panthers center Sam Bennett was selected to join the Canadian squad.
Bennett won back-to-back Stanley Cups in 2024 and 2025, alongside Team USA's Matthew Tkachuk, who he'll now compete against. The 29-year-old was also awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy in 2025, given to the NHL playoff MVP.
Canada's full Olympic hockey roster for Milan Cortina can be found here.
The men's Olympic ice hockey tournament begins on Feb. 11 and Canada faces off for the first time against Czechia on Feb. 12.
Every game will be streamed live on NBC and Peacock.
