Hilary Knight is one of the most experienced Olympians set to compete at Milan Cortina 2026.

She will become the first ever U.S. hockey player to compete in five Olympic Winter Games. Knight was named as the captain of the U.S. Olympic women's hockey team at Milan Cortina 2026.

The 36-year-old forward is chasing a second gold medal after helping Team USA secure the top prize in the 2018 Winter Games. Knight also took home silver in 2010, 2014 and 2022.

Knight joined Team USA as a 17-year-old after the 2006 Winter Olympics. She enters Milan Cortina 2026 with 12 career Olympic goals and 14 assists. During the 2022 Olympics, she paced the U.S. team with six goals, including one in the gold medal game against Canada.

The U.S. hockey legend is set to retire after the 2026 Games and currently holds the record for goals, points and assists in the IIHF Women's World Championships. Knight also helped Team USA to a world title over Canada last April, earning her 10th career gold medal — the most ever by any hockey player.

When not competing for Team USA, Knight plays for the Seattle Torrent in the Professional Women's Hockey League.
