There's just one more session of round-robin play in the mixed doubles curling tournament at the Milan Cortina Olympics, but all four spots in the semifinals have already been clinched.

Great Britain clinched their spot in the playoffs on Saturday after starting 7-0, and has clinched the No. 1 seed despite going 1-1 on their final day of play.

Team USA is sitting second at 6-2, and has clinched a spot in the semifinals for the first time since mixed doubles curling was introduced in 2018. The U.S. is now guaranteed its best finish in mixed doubles, besting an 8th place finish in 2022 and 6th in 2018.

The Nos. 3 and 4 spots in the standings as of Sunday are Italy (5-3), the defending gold medalists, and Sweden (5-4), the 2024 world champions.

Eliminated from semifinal contention on Monday were: Switzerland (4-4), Canada (3-5), South Korea (3-5), Norway (3-5), Czechia (2-6), and Estonia (2-6).

Mixed doubles curling schedule for Monday

There's just one session of round-robin play on Monday. Four games will be held beginning at 4:05 a.m. ET: Italy vs. USA, Norway vs. South Korea, Switzerland vs. Canada, and Czechia vs. Estonia.

Great Britain and Sweden have finished round robin play and will take Monday morning off.

About six hours later, the four semifinalists will face off for a spot in the gold medal game. With Great Britain locking up the No. 1 spot, the order of the Nos. 2-4 will be determined after the final round-robin games are played. If Team USA defeats Italy, the U.S. will take the No. 2 seed, Sweden will clinch No. 3, and Italy will fall to No. 4

If the U.S. falls to Italy, the Italians will clinch the No. 2 seed and USA will be No. 3, and they'll play again later that day while Great Britain will face Sweden.

Both semifinal games will begin at noon ET.

The mixed doubles bronze medal match will be played at 8:05 a.m. ET on Tuesday, followed by the gold medal match at noon ET.
