After the completion of Monday’s sixth day of curling competition in Cortina, which featured two sessions of play in the women's tournament and one in the men's, here's a look at the standings for both, and what's coming up on Tuesday...

Women's Curling

With a win early on Monday, Sweden improved to 6-0 and stayed at the top of the women's curling standings.

Behind them, there's a log jam at 2nd with three teams - South Korea, Switzerland, and the United States - currently all 4-2 and tied for the final three spots in semifinals.

Just below them tied for 5th is Canada and Denmark, both sitting 3-3.

China and Great Britain are tied for 7th at 2-4. Italy and Japan are tied for 9th at 1-5.

Men's Curling

Switzerland was off on Monday, leaving them still 5-0 and alone at the top of the men's curling standings as the only unbeaten team left in the field.

Canada came away with a win to improve to 5-1 and move into sole possessions of 2nd place. Norway won on Monday while the United States was off. Both are now 4-2 and tied for 3rd. 

Just outside of a playoff spot is Great Britain (4-3) in 5th, followed closely by Germany and Italy, both 3-3 and tied for 6th.

China and Sweden are both 1-5 and tied for 8th, and Czechia (0-6) is alone in 10th. 

There are four sessions of round-robin play remaining. After every team has played each other, the top four teams will move on to the semifinals, which will be played on Thursday, Feb. 19, at 1:05 p.m. ET.

Tuesday's Games

Tuesday will feature two sessions of play in the men's curling competition and one in the women's, with a total of 11 matches on the ice.

Session 1 will feature three men's games beginning at 3:05 a.m. ET:

  • Czechia vs. Germany
  • Switzerland vs. Sweden
  • United States vs. China

Session 2 will kick off at 8:05 a.m. ET with four women's games on the ice:

  • Denmark vs. United States
  • Italy vs. Japan
  • South Korea vs. Switzerland
  • Sweden vs. Canada

The day will conclude with four more men's games in Session 3 at 1:05 a.m. ET:

  • Canada vs. Great Britain
  • Germany vs. Switzerland
  • Sweden vs. Norway
  • United States vs. Italy
