A roundup of men's curling games played during Tuesday's two sessions of round-robin play at the Milan Cortina Olympics.

Switzerland 9, Sweden 4

Switzerland stayed unbeaten and killed all changes of Sweden making the semifinals with a seven-end win over the defending gold medalists on Tuesday.

The Swiss squad opened an early four-point lead with two in the first and a steal of two more in the second after Swedish skip Niklas Edin missed on a double-takeout attempt with his hammer throw.

They added two more to the lead in the fifth before Sweden finally put up a multi-point end in the sixth to make it 6-4.

Switzerland put the game away for good in the seventh. Edin seemed to clear the house on his final throw of the end, but he left his lone stone in the house unguarded, and Benoit Schwarz-van Berkel made him pay. The Swiss thrower took out Sweden's stone to give his team three and force Sweden to concede the final three ends.

Both teams will be back on the ice at 1:05 p.m. ET for the second session of the day. Switzerland (6-0) will play Germany, and Sweden (1-6) will face Norway.

Czechia 9, Germany 7

A three-point 10th lifted Czechia to a comeback win over Germany on Tuesday morning.

In the final end, the Czechs were sitting three alone in the house ahead of Germany's last throw. Marc Muskatewitz's team opted for a draw, and he placed his rock just in front of Czechia's shot stone in the back of the eight-foot. Lukas Klima responded by taking that German rock out while leaving his team lying all three of their stones for the win.

Czechia was down, 9-7, going into the 10th after Germany scored two in the ninth to break a tie.

Trailing 5-2 after six, Klima's team put up three in the seventh and stole another in the eighth to go back ahead.

Tuesday was Czechia's first win of the tournament. They'll take the afternoon session off and return to play China at 8:05 a.m. ET on Wednesday.

Germany falls to 3-4 and seventh in the standings. They'll look to get back in the win column later in the day in a match against top-ranked Switzerland at 1:05 p.m. ET.
