Overview

In the Olympic trampoline events, athletes perform routines that consist of twists, bounces and somersaults. Their routines are scored by a panel of judges based on difficulty, execution and time spent in the air, and the individual gymnast with the highest point total wins.

Trampoline was introduced to the Olympic program in at the 2000 Sydney Games. It will be making its eighth Olympic appearance at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. 

What are the Olympic trampoline events for 2028?

There are two Olympic trampoline events, both of which consist of a qualification round and final: 

  • Men's individual
  • Women's individual

Where will the trampoline competition be held at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics?

The venue for Olympic trampoline will be DTLA Arena, which is also known as the Crypto.com Arena and was formerly named the Staples Center. It is home to two basketball teams, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Sparks, and hockey team the Los Angeles Kings. 

Artistic gymnastics and boxing will also be held at the DTLA Arena.
