After winning with new coach Emma Hayes, the U.S. women's team will be back to defend its gold medal from Paris. There will be two soccer tournaments at the Los Angeles Olympics, a 12-team men's tournament and a 16-team women's tournament.

Where will the soccer competition be held at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics?
Soccer during the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics won’t just be set in southern California. Group stage and knockout games will take place in six U.S. cities: New York, Columbus, Ohio, Nashville, Tennessee, St. Louis, Missouri, San Jose, California and San Diego, California. Finals will take place at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California.
The Rose Bowl also hosted Olympic events at the 1932 and 1984 Los Angeles Games.
