Badminton is diving for the birdie at the Los Angeles Olympics from July 15 to July 24, 2028.

Badminton during the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics will be held at the Galen Center in the Exposition Park area from July 15 through July 24. Owned and operated by the University of Southern California (USC), the venue is located right across the street from campus and near the Shrine Auditorium. The Galen Center is home to the USC Trojans basketball and volleyball teams.

The venue will also host Olympic rhythmic gymnastics from July 27 to 29, 2028 as well as para badminton and wheelchair rugby during the Paralympics.

Galen Center has a seating capacity of about 10,200 spectators. 

The multipurpose indoor arena and athletic facility stadium has hosted sporting events, concerts and other special events. Highlights include the WNBA Finals in 2016 as well as boxing and wrestling matches. Galen Center also hosted the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards six times, which has featured performances from artists like Katy Perry, One Direction and Snoop Dogg. 

Galen Center is slated to make its first appearance as a designated Olympic venue for the upcoming 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. 

Fans who want to see Olympic badminton in person must go through the following steps to buy tickets:

• Register for the LA28 ticket draw: During designated windows of time, fans must register at Tickets.LA28.org. After completing the registration process, they'll be entered into the ticket draw to receive a time slot.
• Receive notification of time slot: Before the next drop, fans will be notified if they have received a time slot. Then they'll receive another notification the day before and day of the time slot that they've been randomly assigned to.
• Buy tickets during assigned time slot: When the assigned day and time slot arrives, fans can log on and purchase tickets.

Fans who registered for the first draw and either didn't receive a time slot or didn't purchase the allotted maximum amount of tickets will be automatically entered into the draw for subsequent drops.
