The overarching theme of the 2026 Paralympic Closing Ceremony will be "Italian Souvenir," as athletes, fans and local residents are taken through the emotions and memories of the past days of competition.

Led by Artistic and Show Director Angelo Bonello, the Ceremony "will offer a snapshot of a once‑in‑a‑lifetime adventure, taking the form of a large interactive album of memories, alternating between snapshots of unforgettable sporting successes and postcards of the beauty of the Italian regions that hosted the competitions," according to the Paralympics website.
