The United States will send nine athletes to the 2026 Winter Olympics in snowboard cross and parallel giant slalom, headlined by Olympic champion and five-time Olympian Nick Baumgartner. One athlete, Cody Winters, will represent the U.S. in both events.
The full U.S. Olympic snowboarding roster, which also includes the park and pipe events, is made up of 24 riders across all disciplines. In snowboarding, athletes earn quota spots for their countries, which are allocated based on FIS World Cup and world championship results. It's then up to each country to determine how to fill those quota spots. While the U.S. did not have a formal Olympic Trials event, there were a series of selection events that helped decide the team.
Meet the riders representing Team USA in the two snowboard racing disciplines.

Over his 20 years of competitive snowboarding, Baumgartner, now 44, has developed a reputation as both a tenacious competitor and mentor to the younger members of Team USA.
