Para Alpine skiing concludes at the Milan Cortina 2026 Paralympic Games with the men's slalom, one of the most technical events on the Alpine program. In slalom, athletes race through a tight line of closely spaced gates that require quick turns, rapid edge changes and precise timing. Each skier takes two runs down the course, with the fastest combined time deciding the medalists. Italy's Rene De Silvestro and Norway's Jesper Pedersen are ones to watch in sitting, while Arthur Bauchet of France and Robin Cuche of Switzerland are favored in the standing category.

Every time Oksana Masters races, a new record seems to fall. Her first race at the 2026 Games netted the 20th Paralympic medal of her career. On Saturday, she won her fourth gold medal of these Games as part of the U.S. mixed relay team, setting a personal record for her most gold medals at a single Paralympics. The most decorated U.S. Winter Paralympian of all time, Masters shows no signs of slowing down. She will have one last race at the 2026 Games: the women's cross-country 20km sitting race, which will take place on Sunday morning.
