NBC correspondent Snoop Dogg is living his best life in Italy.

The rapper/producer/actor/media personality/hype man is adding "Team USA honorary coach" to his resume as he returns to Olympic coverage this winter.

Snoop carried the torch through Gallarate, a city in Northern Italy, on Wednesday, bringing his typical flair and style to the moment:

The NBC cameras also caught Snoop as he looked on in awe while U.S. figure skater Ilia Malinin showed off his talents, including casually popping a back flip on the ice in an empty arena. The 21-year-old Malinin is the favorite to win a gold medal at Milan Cortina 2026.

"Hey man, it's an honor to be here watching you," Snoop told Malinin. "You a legend, man. You're going for a gold medal. You got the whole world watching you right now. I want to congratulate you for all the hard work you do, all the kids that you inspired. It's so many kids that want to be like you right now, man."

And, naturally, Snoop took a ride on the Zamboni to help resurface the ice because ... well ... because he's Snoop Dogg and why wouldn't he jump at the chance to ride on the Zamboni?

WTHR-TV, NBC's affiliate in Indianapolis, caught up with Snoop for a quick chat earlier this week.

They asked him what he was looking forward to during the Winter Olympics, after serving as hype man and Team USA ambassador for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

"These events," he said. "To me, the Summer Olympics are cool. But these events right here are a little bit more life-threatening. So I kinda respect this a little bit more, because I see the things that they have to do and the things that they are doing to get that gold medal. I'm not trying a lot of this."

So what is he going to try at the Winter Olympics?

"Eh, probably curling," he quipped.
