U.S. Ski and Snowboard announced the 16 athletes named to the U.S. freestyle ski team for the 2026 Winter Olympics, as Team USA seeks its first moguls gold medal since 2010 and its first individual aerials gold since 1998.

Expectations will be particularly high for the U.S. women’s moguls team, which will have two medal opportunities in Livigno with the addition of dual moguls. Jaelin Kauf, the 2022 Olympic silver medalist in moguls, prequalified for the team after last year’s dominant season that included a Crystal Globe sweep and a world title in dual moguls.

Kauf is joined on the team by Tess Johnson, Olivia Giaccio and 20-year-old Olympic debutant Liz Lemley. The quartet recently swept the top four spots at a dual moguls World Cup event.

With two podium finishes under his belt this season, Nick Page is the headliner on the men’s moguls team. Charlie Mickel, Dylan Walczyk and Landon Wendler were named as additions to the roster.

In aerials, the U.S. is the reigning Olympic and world champion in the mixed team event and will have the reigning women’s world champion on its roster.

Kaila Kuhn followed up last year’s world title with her first-career World Cup victory this season. Winter Vinecki also notched a World Cup win in January. Both women earned automatic spots on the women’s aerials team and will be joined in Livigno by teammates Kyra Dossa and Tasia Tanner.

Quinn Dehlinger, a four-time world medalist across individual and team events, and Chris Lillis, a member of the title-winning squad from the last Olympic team event, headline the men’s aerials team. Both skiers have earned podium finishes during the current World Cup season. Connor Curran and Derek Krueger were named as additions to the roster.

Countries can have a maximum of 32 athletes competing in freestyle skiing events, which include the three freeski disciplines and ski cross, at the Milan Cortina Olympics. As part of the same announcement, 16 athletes were named to the U.S. freeski team. No athletes were named to the Olympic team in ski cross.
